As a partner, EPEKA brings extensive experience in social entrepreneurship, especially in supporting marginalized youth and members of the Roma community in developing business ideas, drafting business plans, and establishing cooperatives and social enterprises. In response to the growing housing crisis, EPEKA has founded one of the first housing cooperatives in Slovenia under the European Cooperative Society (SCE) model, offering young people access to stable, community-oriented housing solutions that go beyond the traditional market. The organization also has strong capacity in coordinating international projects and managing partnerships across sectors, with a particular focus on effective communication, dissemination, and impact evaluation.
EPEKA’s added value lies in its direct engagement with diverse youth communities through mentorship programs, digital and civic literacy workshops, and social activation activities. By integrating education, culture, and social innovation, the organization is uniquely positioned to support holistic, community-based solutions. It aligns closely with the values of the New European Bauhaus—sustainability, aesthetics, and inclusion—and brings practical insight into implementing these principles on the ground. In short, EPEKA is a reliable, mission-driven partner for initiatives aiming to co-create sustainable and inclusive alternatives to current social and housing challenges, especially those affecting youth.
Združenje EPEKA, so.p. actively seeks partners who are committed to social justice, youth empowerment, and innovative approaches to addressing pressing societal challenges—particularly in the areas of social entrepreneurship, the youth housing crisis, and cooperative living. EPEKA values partners who share principles of solidarity, inclusion, and sustainability. It seeks collaborators with expertise or a strong local presence in youth work, cooperative housing models, or community-driven initiatives, and who are ready to co-develop and implement EU-funded projects such as Erasmus+, Creative Europe, Horizon 2020, and initiatives aligned with the New European Bauhaus. The organization values a spirit of innovation and a willingness to pilot and evaluate new models that address real community needs.
